Booking a newborn session is one of the best decisions you can make for your growing family — but with three different options to choose from, it can be hard to know where to start. Each package is designed with a different family in mind, and the right choice depends on what you want to capture, who you want in the photos, and how you want the experience to feel.

In-Studio | 1 Hour | $250 + HST

This is the classic newborn portrait session, and it's exactly what it sounds like: your baby, beautifully wrapped, in my home studio.


The entire hour is devoted to your little one. We work through a variety of wrapped poses across three styled sets and props — soft textures, carefully chosen colours, and timeless arrangements that put your baby front and centre. There are no distractions, no schedule to coordinate around siblings, just one tiny human getting their full moment in the spotlight.


This session is perfect for you if: You want those iconic, polished newborn portraits. You're looking for a shorter session. You want the focus entirely on baby.

In-Studio | 2 Hours | $350 + HST

Think of this as the full experience. The Snug as a Bug session includes everything in Wrapped in Love — all the wrapped poses, the styled sets, the beautiful baby portraits — plus family, parent, and sibling poses across five styled sets and props.


We'll start with any family or sibling photos at the top of the session while everyone is fresh, then move into the longer baby-focused portion. This is a relaxed two hours that gives us time to capture your whole family welcoming your newest member.


This session is perfect for you if: You want to include your partner, older children, or both. You want a comprehensive gallery that tells the full story of your baby's arrival. You're willing to invest a little more time for a fuller set of images.

In-Home Lifestyle | Up to 2 Hours | $300 + HST

Instead of coming to the studio, I come to you. We shoot in your home, in the spaces where your real life happens — your bedroom, your nursery, your living room. The session is relaxed, candid, and documentary in nature. 


Sessions typically take place around noon to take advantage of natural window light, and we work entirely around your baby's schedule — feeding breaks, nap timing, older sibling moods, all of it.


This session is perfect for you if: You want authentic, real-life moments over styled portraits. You want to be photographed in your own home. You have older children, pets, or extended family you want to include. You value a relaxed, pressure-free experience over a structured studio session.



All three sessions are best booked during your second trimester to secure your spot, and the session itself should take place when your baby is between 7 and 21 days old — that sweet, sleepy window when they're at their most cooperative for photos.
