Mackenzie & Mathew’s special day at Bellamere Winery was nothing short of incredible. Surrounded by the beauty of their closest family and friends, these two said "I do" on August 24, 2024. The entire day was packed with emotion, laughter, and the kind of love that makes your heart feel full!

We kicked off the day at The Park Hotel in London, where the energy was buzzing. Mackenzie and her girls were hanging out, sipping mimosas, and snacking on treats while prepping for the big day. Mackenzie slipped into her stunning dress and shared an emotional first look with her dad, gifting him a special handkerchief to get through the tear-jerking moments ahead. Meanwhile, Mathew and his groomsmen were getting a little less sentimental and a lot more "let's clean up these mustaches!" There was even an arm bandage situation that added a bit of humour to the morning.

Oh, and Mackenzie’s flower girls? They were over-the-moon excited about their matching bracelets. Absolutely precious!

First Look: In the Orchard, Of Course!

Bellamere Winery provided the perfect backdrop for Mackenzie & Mathew's first look. We led Mathew out to the orchard, where Mackenzie arrived shortly after. The moment they saw each other, it was like time stopped. It was just the two of them, and they took a few minutes to exchange private vows while we stepped back to give them space. You could feel the love in the air—it was raw, emotional, and beautiful. Afterward, we rounded up the bridal party for some quick and fun photos, and then snuck away with the newlyweds for some intimate couple shots.

The Ceremony: Short, Sweet, and Oh So Memorable

The ceremony was just as Mackenzie & Mathew wanted: short and sweet. The officiant may have accidentally called Mathew "Josh" at one point, and trust me, that joke did not die for the rest of the night.

They added a personal touch to the ceremony by writing love letters to each other, which they sealed in a wine box along with two glasses and a bottle to open on their first anniversary. A beautiful tradition that we all agree should become a staple at every wedding!

Love and Laughter: Cocktail Hour and Reception

Family photos? Check. Cocktail hour? Double-check. The love between Mackenzie & Mathew was palpable, as was the joy from their family and friends. Having been together since they were 16, these two have grown up together, and this wedding was the perfect next step in their love story.

The reception kicked off with the bridal party’s grand entrance, followed by Mackenzie & Mathew’s first dance—seriously, it was perfect. We then took the opportunity to sneak out for sunset photos. Honestly, sunset is my favourite time to shoot—it gives couples a chance to step away from the chaos and just enjoy each other’s company for a bit before heading back to the dance floor. And let me tell you, that dance floor was on fire the entire night!

The Dance Party: No One Wanted to Leave!

After the dinner and speeches, the real party began! We got some amazing shots of the father-daughter, mother-son, and step-dad-and-daughter dances. As soon as those were over, the dance floor was packed, and it stayed that way all night. This group came to celebrate, and they didn’t hold back!
