And they made sure the whole day reflected exactly who they are.

One of the most memorable touches? Cardboard cutouts of their beloved cats, Shrimp and Bean, standing proudly among the wedding décor. If you've ever met a true cat parent, you understand completely — these little ones were part of the family and absolutely part of the celebration.

George's cultural background was honoured with a live band performance during the pre-wedding celebration — music that filled the space with warmth and tradition before the ceremony even began. Then came the ceremony itself, and the unity candle. After 12 years together, watching Lisa and George bring two flames into one was quietly, profoundly moving. There wasn't a dry eye in the room.
