Lisa & George’s October Wedding at Whistle Bear Golf Club

Lisa & George’s wedding was one for the books! On a sunny October 12th, they tied the knot surrounded by the stunning autumn colours at Whistle Bear Golf Club. With rich tones of maroon, rust, black, and olive green complementing the vibrant fall backdrop, this wedding was picture-perfect. And let’s not forget Lisa’s deep red bouquet—it was the perfect pop of colour to her elegant white gown.

While Lisa had a relaxed and chill morning, George was already deep into the celebrations! His pre-wedding festivities started early and were full of life—complete with food, drinks, and a live band. His family and friends came together to kick off the day in his culture’s traditional, joyful way. It was impossible not to feel the excitement and love in the room, and it was such a privilege to capture those unforgettable moments on video.

Lisa’s morning was on the opposite side of the vibe spectrum—calm and cozy. Surrounded by her closest friends and her mom, she spent her morning getting ready in matching PJs, chatting on the phone with loved ones, and soaking in the moment. One of my favourite details? The larger than life cutouts of her adorable cats, Shrimp and Bean, who would later make their grand entrance on the dance floor! My cat mom heart and my videographer heart were both so happy.

The ceremony took place at the breathtaking Whistle Bear Golf Club. With its lush greenery and open, airy vibe, it made the perfect backdrop for Lisa & George’s “I dos.” The ceremony itself was short and sweet— vows, an exchange of rings, and signing the paperwork. The couple also included a unity candle ritual, symbolizing their lives coming together as one after 12 years of being a team. Such a sweet touch!

After cocktail hour, it was time for the grand entrance, and it was EVERYTHING. Remember those Shrimp and Bean cat cutouts? The bridesmaids carried them in like VIPs, and it was equal parts hilarious and adorable. Then Lisa & George took the floor for their stunning choreographed first dance to “Still Into You.” It was a show-stopper and set the perfect tone for the rest of the evening.

Before diving into speeches and cake cutting, we snuck out for some sunset footage. Golden hour never disappoints, and neither did this couple. Their love for each other just radiated, and we got some absolutely stunning shots of them basking in the last light of the day.

Then it was back to inside for heartfelt speeches and an epic dance floor that stayed full all night long. And yes, Shrimp and Bean made their way back out to the dance floor!
