Holly & Kyle's South River Cottage Wedding | Northern Ontario Wedding Videographer

August 9, 2025, was one for the books. Holly and Kyle tied the knot at Holly's family cottage in South River, and it was absolutely everything she had always dreamed of — surrounded by nature and the people who mean the most to her. For BMann Studios, it was a first wedding up north, and honestly? Sign us up for every one.

Holly looked like she had stepped straight out of a boho bridal magazine. Her lace gown with bell sleeves was stunning, paired perfectly with her bridesmaids in terracotta dresses and accents of sunflowers and greenery. Their ceremony in the woods behind the cabin was magical — aisles lined with rugs, a terracotta floral arbour, and the sweetest processional with Kyle walking with both of his parents and Holly with both of hers.

Their love story goes back to high school — they truly connected after prom and spent nine years building a life together before finally saying I do. The smiles never left their faces all day. When asked what they were most excited for, they both said celebrating with their closest people — and you could feel that joy radiating through every moment.

The reception under a tent by the water was just as magical as the ceremony. Heartfelt speeches from parents and the bridal party, and then Holly did something that had the whole crowd in tears: she dedicated her bouquet to her mom for helping bring her dream day to life. Then came the surprise — their first dance took place not under the tent, but down on the dock. With three docks lined with guests on either side, Holly and Kyle danced on the middle one as the sun set. It was a scene worth every minute of the drive north.

After the dockside first dance, parent dances, and a dance floor full of incredibly talented guests, we hopped on a boat to capture the couple from the water. Honestly, every wedding should end with a boat ride. Pure magic.
