September: A Month Full of Love, Laughter, and Cameras
September was a whirlwind! Between celebrating my best friend's wedding, snapping gorgeous photos, and capturing video memories, it was a non-stop month of incredible moments. Somehow, amidst all the chaos, I managed to juggle my roles as a London, Ontario photographer and videographer with so much joy. Here's a little recap of the magic that September brought!
Elizabeth & Matthew’s Wedding
I kicked off the month by associate shooting for Ivy Virginia Photography at Elizabeth and Matthew’s stunning wedding at the Marconi Club in London, Ontario. They started their day at the chic Park Hotel and had a beautiful Greek crowning ceremony, which was such a meaningful touch. From their first kiss to their first dance, the whole day felt like a dream. We even braved the chilly weather for some outdoor photos that were so worth it!
Beach Vibes with Sabrina’s Family
The very next day, I hit the beach in Sarnia to capture Sabrina and her extended family. If you’ve been following along, you’ll remember Sabrina and Cameron’s New Year’s Eve wedding in 2022. It’s been such a joy to see their family grow over the years, and this session felt extra special with everyone together. There’s something magical about family sessions by the water.
Back to London for Tena & Wayne’s Maternity Session
Right after the family session, I rushed back to London for Tena and Wayne’s maternity photos. This couple holds a special place in my heart. I stepped in as their photographer last minute for their COVID wedding, and now I got to capture this exciting next chapter of their lives. They’re keeping the gender a surprise, and I can’t wait to hear the news when their little one arrives. These two are glowing with love, and it was a privilege to be part of their journey again.
Toronto Bound for Business Content
A few days later, I packed up my gear and headed to Toronto to second shoot with Mike for a business conference. We captured recap footage for their social media, and it was such a fun change of pace! After the shoot, we celebrated with a Jays game (my first-ever win!) alongside our partners. Sometimes work-life balance looks like enjoying baseball with good friends.
Mid-month, I had the opportunity to second shoot a wedding with Alexia Cina Photographer. Although I don’t have photos to share from this day, trust me—it was a gorgeous event!
Studio Newborn Session with Olivia’s Family
Back at the studio, I welcomed Olivia and her beautiful family of five for a newborn session. Let me tell you, this family was pure joy. Welcoming a baby is such a big transition, especially for older siblings, but Olivia’s two older brothers were absolutely smitten with their new baby brother. We captured so many precious moments—it was hard to pick favourites!
My Bestie’s Wedding
This day wasn’t work—it was personal! My best friend got married, and I had the honour of being her maid of honour. I didn’t expect to cry so much, but from the ceremony to our speech, emotions were high, and it was absolutely beautiful. We partied all night and celebrated her love story in the best way possible. Alison & Ben’s Wedding
Back in wedding mode, I captured Alison and Ben’s gorgeous day at Craigowan Golf Club. As their videographer, I was there to film every sweet moment, from their heartfelt first look to their fun-filled reception. It was an unforgettable day, and their love story shone bright.
Vanessa’s Family at Springbank Park
To wrap up the month, I photographed Vanessa and her beautiful family at Springbank Park. This spot is a favourite for a reason—the fall colours were starting to pop, and the photos turned out so adorable. There’s just something about capturing families that fills my heart.
What’s Next?
October is already shaping up to be just as exciting. I’m taking a much-needed vacation to Disney with my niece and her parents (get ready for some magical photos!). But first, I’ll be wrapping up edits and getting ready to share even more amazing moments from September.
